Hey y'all! How's it going? I am pleased to announce some upcoming shows. This week I’m proud to show with Color Lines at the Neal Marshall Black Culture Center organized by Brooke Starks, next week I’m up for a month in Seattle as part of the Backstreet Bazaar Festival curated by Jake Millett, and I was just accepted to the Justice (League) Exchange Portfolio juried by Alison Filley at St. Ambrose University! Wanted to really get these things going 100%. I want the viewer to be able to see both sides of the paper and the print, so they'll be off the wall. I've begun a new series of wall comics at 14" x 18" that I'll hang so that both sides are visible. Don't mind me while I brainstorm on this... and don't worry, there's an overhaul coming when I document a great deal of new stuff. I've begun working on a new book about FIRE in the west and in California. These 10 images explore fire in relation to industry, prison, and ecology . I would like to bind this sucker in redwood somehow. Without further explanation, enjoy these things! Inspired by my work with Peter Koch Printers, I'll be doing it up binding these things in an excellent manner. Love Printmaking's flexibility, again and again. #comics #comicbook #printmaking #letterpress #bookmaking #peterkoch
